Amazon is giving its Visa rewards cardholders 5% again when purchasing at Whole Foods

Amazon is providing Prime members who use its Visa rewards card 5 % money again after they store at Whole Foods, the corporate mentioned Tuesday.

The U.S. e-commerce large launched the the Amazon Rewards Visa Card final yr. Prime members within the U.S., who pay $99 a yr for a subscription, get 5 % again on all Amazon.com purchases, 2 % again at eating places, gasoline stations and drugstores, and 1 % again on all different purchases.

Now Prime members will get 5 % again at Whole Foods shops when utilizing the Visa card.

Non-Prime members will get three % again when utilizing their bank card.

Amazon acquired Whole Foods last year for $13.7 billion. Since then it has been trying to combine the enterprise. The e-commerce titan has been cutting prices and even started promoting its Echo good speaker system in Whole Foods stores.

And earlier this month, Amazon mentioned it would start delivering groceries from Whole Foods through its two-hour Prime Now supply service.

“We are excited to launch the Amazon Rewards Visa Card in our shops, providing advantages to our prospects on all of their purchases at Whole Foods Market,” John Mackey, Whole Foods Market co-founder and CEO, mentioned in a press launch Tuesday.
